Site Interpretation
Katie has worked on a range of interpretation projects, helping to interpret and share the stories of a wide variety of sites and subjects. She was a Project Manager for the Royal BC Museum’s Digital Totem Gallery Project, which worked to showcase the museum's impressive collection of poles in an online exhibition. She also helped research and write the interpretative content for the revitalization of the Former Explosives Magazine Compound in Hong Kong. This involved cataloguing and sharing the incredible story of a military site’s transformation into a cultural hub and new home for the Asia Society Hong Kong Center. She also helped edit the interpretive content for the permanent exhibition of the Jao Tsung-I Academy; the revitalization of the Former Lai Chi Kok Hospital site. As a thorough researcher and a thoughtful writer, Katie is well-equipped to effectively and engagingly interpret any site for optimal appreciation and understanding.
